WHO WE ARE
We are the DUC Club – nice to meet you!
We are a small group of young people who came together to pool our knowledge and donations so that each individual can donate in an uncomplicated, multi-faceted and effective way. As a non-profit association, we started together in 2021 so that donating becomes as natural a part of our lives as Netflix or the gym – and not out of self-interest or a bad conscience, but to contribute together to a better world. So instead of „Do ut des“ (Latin: „I give so that you give.“), we told ourselves „Damus ut crescit“ („We give so that it develops.“) – or „DUC“ for short.
Linda
The Dreamer
Why start small when you can think big? With her many plans and ideas, Linda ensures that we never run out of ambitions. Together with Constantin and Luis she initiated the association to create more clarity and overview in the jungle of donations. Always focusing on the positive, Linda wants to motivate herself and others to take on social responsibility and actively help shape the world of tomorrow.
Constantin
The Strategist
Always keeping the big picture in mind, Constantin ensures that we follow a common compass even in the small details. He is also responsible for our internal organization and navigates our association through German bureaucracy.
Luis
The Enthusiast
Do you know those people you look at and immediately have to smile? Luis is one of those people. He radiates good mood and easily inspires himself and others with new ideas. At the DUC Club, he places particular emphasis on the community idea: Luis wants to create a platform to connect people with a will to donate.
Annika
The Environmental Activist
„I read another study on that the other day!“ Annika likes to conjure up a dose of nerd vibes in our DUC meetings. And she does it in her own charming way. Whether it is nutrition, psychology or statistics – she is guaranteed to shake the perfect science anecdote out of her sleeve to answer any question. When it comes to donations, environmental issues are especially close to her heart.
Rabea
The Good Soul
As our youngest member, Rabea places special emphasis on making everyone feel comfortable and welcome – both in our internal work and in the impact of our fundraising projects. Her thoughtful contributions are always full of heart and philosophical depth.
Lara
The Globetrotter
Making Lara speechless? A real challenge. She loves to chat, text and juggle with language. That is why she particularly enjoys getting to know even more new words when she travels! So it is no surprise that she is our copywriter. She does not mince words and gets to the heart of the matter.
Laurids
The Justitia
As a soon to be lawyer, Laurids makes sure that we have everything under control legally. The subject of justice is therefore particularly important to him. Because of his emphatic nature, you can philosophise with Laurids about God and the world. When discussing world events, he always tries to shed light on all sides of the story.
